1-800-GOT-JUNK? La Grange is seeking Route Drivers and Laborers. CDL is not required, and you’ll work with a team in our clean blue trucks to help neighbors by removing unwanted items. The role emphasizes safety, learning, and entrepreneurship, offering a great workout and meaningful service to the community.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and have a valid driver's license (CDL not required).
• Clean driving record (MVR check past 5 years).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Physically able to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly.
• Previous sales and customer service experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the commercial vehicle at the start of the day, then join a two-person crew in a shiny blue truck.
• Visit customers' homes to remove unwanted items and leave a smile on their faces.
• Provide detailed estimates/quotes and final pricing to each customer.
• Dispose of items responsibly through recycling, donation, and waste facilities when the truck is full.
• Maintain communication with the operations team to run efficiently.

What We Offer:

Flexible Scheduling: (We operate 7 days a week)

Please note, we require all employees to work one weekend day per week

Full-time - 4 Shifts per week ( 8-12 hour shifts)

Immediate start dates & paid training

Pay (Hour rate + Tips + Performance Based Bonus)

Total Average Earnings: $24–$28/hr an hour on average

A typical day includes:

• The day starts with a commercial vehicle inspection, followed by a morning meeting.
• Teams of two will head out in our shiny blue trucks to visit customers’ homes and properties and take away their unwanted items while leaving smiles on their faces
• Provide detailed estimates/quotes and final pricing to each customer
• Once your truck is full, you will dispose of items responsibly through our recycling, donating, and waste management facilities
• To run efficiently, teams must maintain communication throughout the day with our dedicated and fun operations team

What you bring to the company:

• You are 21+ years of age (Required for commercial truck Insurance)
• Possess a valid driver’s license (No CDL Required!)
• Clean driving record (Motor Vehicle Records Check will be ran on past 5 years).
• Possess a positive and friendly attitude, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Physically able to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly
• Previous sales and customer service experience will aid in your success of our team
