Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Dispatcher to handle incoming driver and customer service calls, record delivery times, and monitor status on assigned accounts. You will support the Transportation Department and help ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL is required for emergency route relief.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a transportation/warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of local delivery areas.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and records delivery time information from route drivers.
• Communicates route driver locations to management and customer service.
• Reviews daily delivery logs for accuracy and makes corrections.
• Coordinates with purchasing on product pick-ups and driver assignments.
• Reassigns drivers to routes when another driver is unavailable.
• Makes minor route adjustments as needed.
• Addresses customer issues and directs calls to customer service.
• Makes adjustments that could disrupt delivery windows.
