Job summary

Canteen, a Compass Group USA brand, is seeking a Route Manager to safely operate a company vehicle, deliver products along an assigned route, and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires strong time management, attention to safety, and the ability to build positive relationships with customers while ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.

Schedule: Monday Friday 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Applicants should maintain a valid license, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and follow DOT

Qualifications

• Valid driver7s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move products weighing up to 50 pounds or more as required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of local routes and navigation technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle and complete daily assigned delivery routes.
• Load, transport, and unload products in accordance with company procedures.
• Deliver products accurately and on schedule while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Verify delivery quantities, collect required documentation, and obtain customer signatures as needed.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety standards.
• Manage route schedules efficiently and communicate any delays or customer concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required paperwork or electronic logs.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to support customer satisfaction and retention.
