The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a dedicated truck driver in Oakland, CA to manage daily routing, ensure on-time deliveries, and uphold safety and customer service standards. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, supervising helpers, and strict adherence to DOT regulations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.

• Follow daily routing directions and complete routes within the approved work schedule.
• Safely load and unload assigned trucks and assist with others as needed.
• Train and supervise truck helpers, including those in rehabilitation programs.
• Perform pre- and post-checks; report any issues to the Transportation Supervisor.
• Maintain courteous customer service and report donor problems to dispatch.
• Comply with DOT regulations and state laws; attend driver safety meetings.
• Adhere to meal and rest breaks per state law and company policy.
• Other duties may be assigned by the Transportation Supervisor or Director of Production.
