The Salvation Army USA Western Territory in Lodi, CA seeks a dependable driver to perform food pickups and deliveries and assist with transportation and event setup. You will operate Salvation Army vehicles, conduct safety checks, and ensure secure storage of vehicles and equipment.

The role supports food distribution programs, interacts with donors, and helps maintain the Lodi Corps facilities, while adhering to all DMV, DOT, and TSA requirements for drivers.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid California Class C Driver License and be able to drive a Salvation Army vehicle.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Able to pass a criminal background check including DOJ Livescan fingerprint check.
• Able to communicate in written and spoken English.
• Experience with warehouse/food distribution operations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operate Salvation Army vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Load and unload food donations; use forklift for palletized loads.
• Assist with food distribution to clients and related programs.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the Lodi Corps facility.
