Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to support delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will learn multiple routes, deliver garments and products, and uphold high standards of customer service with a proactive, safety-conscious mindset.

The role emphasizes autonomy within a collaborative team, opportunities to upsell, and a Monday–Friday day-shift schedule. A valid driver’s license, clean record, and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• DOT compliance including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently with problem-solving skills.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety and appearance.
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with Service and Management Teams to support new account installations, assist on routes, and contribute to rerouting and collections.
• Share customer feedback with location leadership and stay informed on local market activity.
