Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Building Engineer I to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of building systems on a typical Monday–Friday shift. You will work under supervision, taking ownership of team projects and ensuring safe, efficient operation of the assigned property.

Key duties include maintaining electrical, HVAC, life safety, and BAS systems, responding to after-hours emergencies, reading blueprints, and coordinating with management and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Universal EPA Refrigerant Handler License required.
• NATE Certified HVAC Technician and Refrigeration/Engine license preferred but not always required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of building systems.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate HVAC, electrical, and BAS systems; read blueprints.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and maintain records.
