Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service to bar and restaurant guests.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage offerings and current menu.
• Enter orders and process payments through the POS system.
• Verify identifications and follow responsible alcohol service rules.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and help maintain a safe environment.
• Keep bar clean, organized, and stocked throughout service.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, glassware, ice, garnishes, and supplies.
• Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work tasks.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management.
• Support the team during high-volume service and events.

Position Summary

Round Barn Public House is seeking energetic, knowledgeable, and guest-focused Bartenders to join our fast-paced hospitality team.

Bartenders are responsible for preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering friendly, efficient, and engaging service. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume environment, stays organized under pressure, and takes pride in product knowledge, cleanliness, and responsible alcohol service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service to bar and restaurant guests.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Round Barn beverage offerings and current food menu.
• Accurately enter orders and process payments through the POS system.
• Verify identification and follow all responsible alcohol service requirements.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and help maintain a safe, enjoyable environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, glassware, ice, garnishes, and other supplies.
• Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and assigned side-work duties.
• Communicate effectively with Servers, Food Runners, Kitchen Staff, and management.
• Support the team during high-volume service and special events.
