Job summary

Air Methods is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations on company-operated aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, policies, and manuals.

The candidate will verify part numbers, maintain documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the 145 shop. The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience and EC130/135/145 or Bell 206/407 familiarity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 to 5 years’ related aircraft maintenance experience is required.
• FAR 145 operations knowledge preferred.
• EC130/135/145 or Bell 206/407 experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components per procedures and regulations.
• Verify part numbers and serial numbers against documentation.
• Ensure maintenance documentation complies with regulations and manuals.
• Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) activities.
• Maintain a clean, professional work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
