Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Air Ambulance Pilot to deliver rapid patient transport from the Wadesboro base in North Carolina. You will fly helicopters under FAA regulations, coordinate with medical teams, and ensure safety during missions.

The role offers a competitive base salary ($100,000–$172,000 depending on experience), a 7x7 rotation, PTO, 401k matching, and a $12,000 sign-on bonus. Housing may be provided for off-duty periods.

Qualifications

• FAA certificates: Commercial Pilot with Instrument Rating or ATP.
• Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate (or higher).

Responsibilities

• Operates helicopter in compliance with FAA regulations, company policies and mission protocols.
• Plans and executes flights considering weather, weight and balance, and fuel requirements.
• Collaborates with medical staff, ground crew and dispatch for seamless missions.
• Responds promptly to emergency callouts and maintains readiness at all times.
• Maintains flight and maintenance logs as required by FAA and company policies.
