Job summary

Based at Wadesboro Air Base, NC, the position offers a 42-hour weekly schedule between $46.24 and $72.80 per hour, with a $12,000 sign-on bonus, PTO, 401k matching, and housing support. Applicants must hold FAA certificates and meet helicopter experience requirements.

Qualifications

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating or ATP certificate.
• Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate (or higher).
• 2,500 hours total helicopter flight time.
• 100 hours cross-country flight – 25 hours at night.
• 75 instrument hours and 100 hours unaided night flight time.

Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, policies, and mission protocols.
• Plan and execute flights considering weather, weight, balance, and fuel.
• Coordinate with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for mission success.
• Maintain flight and maintenance logs per FAA requirements.
• Represent Intermountain Health professionally with patients and families.
