Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) in Crockett, TX. The AMT will maintain aircraft, perform inspections, and ensure safety and reliability of the fleet to support lifesaving helicopter transport and patient care services.

Starting salary ranges from $65,239 to $94,567 annually, plus an IA stipend of 2,080 and a $12,500 sign-on bonus. The role requires an A&P license, FAA knowledge, and ability to work flexible schedules including on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Two years turbine powered helicopter experience required.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license.
• FAA knowledge and compliance with regulations.
• Experience with EMS/maintenance systems and records.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including overtime and on-call rotations.
• Must pass FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections and repairs.
• Manage inventory checks and update equipment tracking logs.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per procedures.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance team.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members.
• Collaborate with allied health and operations staff.
