Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to ensure safe maintenance of our rotor-wing fleet. The AMT will support airframe maintenance, inspections, repairs and document FAA records to maintain high safety and service standards.

Qualified candidates will hold an A&P license, turbine helicopter experience, and a valid driver's license, with the ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Two years turbine-powered helicopter experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance planning knowledge.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be compliant with FAA drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be able to push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks, update equipment tracking log, and document part expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members to facilitate maintenance efforts.
• Work with allied health and public safety personnel and operations team in a professional manner.
