Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Madison County, TN is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to uphold airworthiness and safety of our rotor-wing fleet. The role focuses on inspections, repairs and documentation to ensure timely, high-quality patient transport.

The position requires 2+ years of turbine helicopter experience, an A&P license, and a flexible schedule including on-call shifts. Competitive starting salary includes IA stipend and sign-on bonus benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years turbine powered helicopter experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
• EMS and aircraft maintenance systems knowledge.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including overtime and on-call rotations.
• Able to pass FAA drug and alcohol testing.
• Able to push/pull 100+ lbs and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections and repairs.
• Provide regular status updates to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks and track parts expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members.
