Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Crockett, TX is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) for a full-time role. Starting salary ranges from $65,239 to $94,567 annually, with an additional IA stipend of 2,080 and a $12,500 sign-on bonus.

The AMT will maintain and service turbine helicopters, ensuring safety and timely patient transport. The role requires A&P license, 2 years turbine helicopter experience, and ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Two years turbine-powered helicopter experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• FAR knowledge.
• EMS systems and records management; maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs and provide status updates to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks and update equipment tracking logs; place replacement requests as needed.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information; comply with policies and information security standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members to facilitate efforts.
• Work collaboratively with AMTs and operations staff and allied health/public safety personnel.
