Job summary

Air Methods in Colorado is seeking a temporary Aircraft Mechanic to maintain, repair, and inspect Air Methods aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies. Knowledge of rotor maintenance and (RAMCO) ERP system is preferred.

The role requires on-call availability, periodic travel (25–50%), and regular attendance. A valid FAA A&P license and 2–5 years’ related experience are recommended, with factory airframe/power plant schooling preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years related experience or equivalent
• Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
• FAR 135 operations preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and repairs per procedures, directives, and FARs
• Verify part numbers/serials against documentation
• Maintain aircraft maintenance records per regulations and manuals
• Participate in Safety Management System activities
• Maintain a clean, professional work area and correct safety issues when directed
• Inform PIC of any maintenance issues that could ground an aircraft
• Manage status report data for aircraft
• Order parts to maintain inventory for prompt repairs
• Perform other duties as assigned
