Air Methods in Frisco, TX is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for temporary assignment to service AS350 rotor aircraft supporting the Denver Flight For Life program. Requires rotor maintenance experience and FAA A&P certification. Role includes inspections, repairs, and documentation compliance with FARs and company procedures.

The position includes on-call nights, weekends, and holidays with travel 25–50% as needed. DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing applies.

Qualifications

• GED or higher with 2–5 years related experience.
• Factory airframe/power plant schooling preferred.
• FAR 135 operations experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform inspections and repairs per maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and FARs.
• Verify part numbers and serial numbers against documentation during installation/removal.
• Ensure all maintenance docs comply with FARs, policies, and manuals.
• Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) level 4 improvements.
• Keep work area clean and address compliance or safety issues.
• Advise PIC of maintenance issues that could remove aircraft from service.
• Validate data in Status Reports for the aircraft worked on.
• Request parts to maintain inventory for prompt repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
