Job summary

Air Methods is seeking a maintenance mechanic to support the AS350 rotor aircraft at our Frisco, CO location. The role focuses on inspections, repairs, and documentation in compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.

The candidate should have rotor maintenance experience, be able to work a flexible schedule including on-call rotations, and travel 25–50% as needed for Part 135 operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years related experience.
• FAA A&P license in good standing.
• Factory airframe/power plant training and FAR 135 exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and repairs per FAA regulations, ADs, SBs, and service bullets.
• Verify part numbers and serials match documentation after installation/removal.
• Ensure maintenance docs comply with regs and manuals.
• Participate in SMS and safety processes per company policy.
• Maintain a clean, professional work area and report safety/compliance issues.
• Advise Pilot in Command of maintenance issues that affect aircraft status.
• Manage parts requests to support timely repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
