Job summary

Johnson Controls invites applicants to its 18-month Engineering Training Program in Glendale, WI. You will rotate across engineering, operations, and product development, gaining hands-on experience, mentorship, and leadership development while building skills for a future Cloud/AI/Software engineering role.

You'll work full-time on-site, with domestic travel for rotations and training, and you must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and legal right to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Willingness to relocate and rotate across US locations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proven ability to analyze data and use AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete structured rotational assignments across engineering, operations, product development, and other key functions.
• Apply technical and business skills to real-world projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges and drive impact.
• Receive mentorship and coaching from senior leaders and technical experts while developing problem-solving, communication, and leadership capabilities.
• Contribute to the successful and timely completion of projects, provide status updates, and deliver a final capstone project.
• Work on-site at your assigned Johnson Controls facility throughout the program and complete rotations that may require extended stays at other U.S. locations.
• Travel domestically and occasionally internationally for training, project work, and collaboration with global teams.
