Job summary

New-Indy Containerboard LLC in Ontario, CA seeks a Process Engineer to rotate through Production/Paper Machine, Stock Prep, Maintenance and Power & Utilities, gaining broad mill knowledge within 2–3 years. The role emphasizes process improvement, reliability and efficient operation with plant-wide impact.

Responsibilities include supporting performance, data analysis, trials, safety and environmental compliance, and collaboration with maintenance and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required or preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical materials; present to management.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through Production/Paper Machine, Stock Prep, Maintenance, and Power & Utilities to gain mill knowledge within 2–3 years.
• Support production optimization, quality improvements and process reliability.
• Assist in design, data collection, trials and troubleshooting across departments.
• Participate in planning, shutdowns, and compliance activities.
