New-Indy Containerboard LLC is seeking a Power & Recovery Shift Supervisor to lead the Power & Recovery teams in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. You will oversee hourly staff, coordinate scheduling, and drive continuous improvement in reliability and quality.

The role requires a four-year engineering degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a pulp & paper mill, strong leadership, and the ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.

Formación

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent operational experience in a Power & Recovery environment.
• Solid understanding of operation of an integrated pulp & paper mill.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a power & recovery environment.
• Ability to build and sustain trust and work collaboratively across functions.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
• Ability to balance priorities to meet short and long-term goals.
• Efficient in use of Office productivity products and enterprise planning systems.
• Possess an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit.

Responsabilidades

• Manage hourly employees and Team Leaders to ensure accurate time & attendance, effective crew scheduling, and adherence to HR policies in a union environment.
• Ensure safety & environmental compliance through training, permitting, one-on-one meetings, and policy management.
• Ensure product quality by using ISO standards and quality targets.
• Meet production targets by leading troubleshooting, adhering to SOPs & KPIs, and maintaining housekeeping.
• Improve equipment reliability by overseeing operator rounds, maintenance resource management, and outage leadership.
• Facilitate communication among employees, peers, and supervisors via shift turnover meetings, feedback, and incident investigations.
