Job summary

Warren CAT in Midland, TX is seeking a Natural Gas Generator Rental Field Tech (Rotational) to operate on a 14-on/7-off schedule, traveling to customer sites to repair, service, and test generator equipment for reliable operation.

You will complete work orders, document activities, troubleshoot issues, and mentor team members while maintaining safety and quality standards. CDL preferred; HS diploma or GED required; valid license with clean record.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED with 3–5 years related experience and/or training.
• CDL preferred.
• Ability to obtain licenses, certifications, and registrations as needed.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs and meet flat rate times; re-do metrics.
• Process paperwork and access databases (work orders, parts orders, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS web, STW).
• Remove/install parts and test/disassemble/assemble components with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose problems and recommend repairs; perform critical Rental and engine repairs/adjustments.
• Test and verify correct operation after repairs and adjustments.
• Mentor Rental team members.
