Job summary

Warren CAT is seeking a Rental Field Technician I in Midland, TX. The role focuses on high-quality repair service on equipment, meeting customer needs promptly and valuing work performed.

Responsibilities include completing jobs on time, handling paperwork, removing/installing parts, diagnosing issues, and performing engine repairs with supervision as needed. Shift flexibility and travel up to 10% are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 years related experience.
• Ability to obtain licenses/certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times and re-do metrics.
• Complete related paperwork and access databases required to complete work orders, parts orders, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS web, STW accurately and timely.
• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Provide accurate information to management for quoting.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs and make all critical Rental and engine repairs and adjustments.
• Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.
• Apply general failure analysis and procedures to determine proper diagnosis.
