Job summary

Warren CAT in Texas is seeking a Rental Technician I to perform high quality repair service on Caterpillar equipment, ensuring safe and timely responses to customer needs and maximum value for work performed.

You will complete assigned jobs in line with ERLG guidelines, work safely, and document tasks while gaining hands-on experience with engine and component repair and preventive maintenance. Travel up to 10% may be required, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of related experience.
• Associate degree/certificate preferred.
• Successfully complete Work Steps assessment.
• Forklift and/or man lift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs within ERLG guidelines without compromising quality or safety.
• Work safely and follow WCAT safety policies.
• Complete related paperwork and access required databases accurately.
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules.
• Remove/install parts, disassemble/assemble components, inspect assemblies.
• Understand Cat reusability guidelines and provide timely quotes.
• Submit parts returns with proper documentation and perform ECM warranty downloads.
