Job summary

Warren CAT in Odessa, TX seeks a Rental Field Technician I to deliver high-quality repair service on equipment, responding to customer needs in a positive, timely manner. You will diagnose and troubleshoot faults, remove and install parts, and ensure accurate work orders and database entries while following safety procedures.

The role requires maintaining licenses, certifications, and a valid driver’s license, with the potential to mentor Rental team members and work varying shifts including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience or training.
• CDL preferred.
• Ability to obtain any required licenses, certifications and/or registrations.
• Must be able to mentor Rental team members.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times and re-do metric.
• Complete related paperwork and access databases required to complete job (work order, parts order, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS web, STW) accurately and timely.
• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Provide accurate information to management for quoting.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs and make all critical Rental and engine repairs and adjustments.
• Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.
• Apply general failure analysis and procedures to determine proper diagnosis.
