Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is hiring Plastic Machine Operators for a local manufacturing company in Horicon, WI. Starting pay is $20/hr+ based on experience, with 2nd and 3rd shifts offering premium pay of $2.50/hr and $5.00/hr respectively.

The role includes opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package after permanent hire. Responsibilities include operating rotational molding machines, assembling and dismantling production molds, removing parts, and monitoring temperatures.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in manufacturing or machine operation a plus.
Ability to perform simple math and measurements accurately.

Responsibilities

Run rotational molding machines to meet plant metrics for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale.
Collaborate with your team to assemble and dismantle production molds.
Remove molded parts from molds, monitor temperatures, and perform mold changes using overhead cranes and rigging.
Use feedback from Trimmers to drive process improvements, reduce scrap, and improve overall productivity.
Document actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs in production/quality logs across shifts.
Adhere to safety procedures and keep a clean, orderly workspace.
