Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Development Associate for a 36-month rotation in Chicago, with exposure to the Montabert and Komatsu organizations. The program emphasizes structured training, cross-functional placements, and hands-on learning in engineering disciplines.

Candidates should have a BS in an engineering field, strong communication, CAD experience (ProE/Creo), and willingness to travel internationally. The role is onsite at the Chicago headquarters with extensive travel across North America and

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or technical field from an accredited college/university. Ability to apply academic background to real business experiences.
Entry-level to 3 years' engineering exposure; internship or work-study leadership preferred.
Strong communications, multi-tasking, and problem-solving; willingness to travel widely.

Responsibilities

Participate in an intensive 36-month rotation program across core Komatsu business areas.
Rotations include Product and Aftermarket Support divisions (Sales, Marketing Engineering, Product Marketing, Product Technical Support, Quality Engineering).
Travel extensively within North America and spend time at the Montabert factory in Lyon, France.
