Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Dec 2026–Jun 2027).
• Begin employment July 2027 as part of Evonik Rotation Program.
• Willingness to relocate (NA and/or international) for 2-year program.
• Engineering fundamentals, standard industry practices, and regulatory understanding, via experiences (Co-Op or internships).
• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills; ability to communicate at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; highly organized and time-efficient.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and methodological assistance to production and operations areas to improve productivity or reliability.
• Support evaluation of expansion concepts including Capital Investment Projects and quality improvements.
• Provide technical support in basic engineering, process development, and scale-up of projects.
• Prepare basic engineering and design documentation for capital and customer projects in compliance with standards.
• Develop project scopes and feasibility studies to gain approval.
• Participate in site assignments across process, project, maintenance, or reliability engineering.
• Analyze and document data using preset tools to improve processes and reliability.
• Collaborate with procurement, plant engineering, supply chain, EHSQ, HR, and controls.
• Support standard office tooling and provide technical guidance to operators.
• Develop actions to improve process performance, product quality, or equipment.
