Job summary

Warren Equipment Company in Texas seeks a Rotational Engine Shop Technician III to provide high quality repair service on equipment, responding to customer needs in a positive, caring and timely manner. This role is a rotational position with a 14-day on / 7-day off cycle.

The technician will travel to and lodge at the assigned work location for the 14-day shift and perform engine and component rebuilds as described in the job duties.

Qualifications

• CAT product knowledge across gas, diesel, electrical, electronic, mechanical components.
• Flexibility to work overtime and Rotational scheduling requirements.
• 5–8 years of diesel/automotive tech experience or equivalent.
• Experience with diesel or gas engines and related systems.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools, diagnostic software, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times and re-do metrics.
• Perform work in the shop setting and ensure safety compliance.
• Accurately complete work orders, parts orders, and required documentation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and recommend repairs.
• Test and verify operation after repairs and document results.
• Carry out engine/component rebuilds with supervision.
• Follow contamination control and safety rules.
