Job summary

Warren CAT is seeking a Rotational Engine Shop Technician II to provide high-quality repair service on equipment. This role operates on a rotating schedule (e.g., 14 days on, 7 days off) and requires travel to assigned work locations for the 14-day assignments.

The technician will diagnose, repair, and rebuild engines and components, ensuring safe operation and accurate service reporting. Qualified candidates will have CAT product knowledge, diesel/gas engine experience, a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• CAT product knowledge on gas, diesel, electrical, electronic, mechanical components.
• Ability to provide accurate quotes and estimates.
• High school diploma or GED or 3–5 years of diesel/automotive technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs to meet flat rate times.
• Perform work in the shop setting and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Complete paperwork and access databases required for job tasks.
• Remove/install parts, diagnose and troubleshoot engine issues, and verify repairs.
