Job summary

Warren Equipment Company seeks a Prev Maint Field Tech (R) in a rotating 14 days on / 7 days off schedule, traveling to and lodging at assigned work locations for the 14-day period. You will complete maintenance tasks with minimal supervision and install parts as needed.

You will complete jobs on time, provide repair recommendations in field and shop, and access work orders and databases to finalize tasks. A CDL is required within 60 days, and you must be at least 21 to drive the field vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience preferred.
• General knowledge of diesel or gas engines and multiple systems.
• Clean driving record; CDL required within 60 days of employment.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools, diagnostic software, and lifting equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Familiarity with database and order processing systems.
• Ability to provide accurate quotes and pricing estimates.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs to meet flat rate times and metrics.
• Provide repair recommendations and perform minor service in field and shop.
• Access databases and complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Remove/install parts, disassemble/assemble components, test assemblies.
