Job summary

USG is seeking a Production Operator to run and monitor production equipment on a rotating day/night schedule (6:45am-7:00pm and 6:45pm-7:00am). You will troubleshoot, adjust processes, and ensure product quality while recording data.

Qualifications

• Must work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow plant safety/housekeeping rules.
• Able to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
• Ability to apply basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Proficiency at taking measurements to verify specifications.
• Familiarity with common hand tools and proper use (hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife).
• Effective teamwork and communication with co-workers.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and troubleshoot to meet product and quality specs.
• Record production data as required.
• Apply basic maintenance skills to service equipment.
• Support plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as directed.
