Job summary

USG in Sweetwater, OK is hiring a Production Operator-#3 Board to operate production equipment, troubleshoot, record data and assist with basic maintenance. The role requires adherence to safety rules and active participation in plant safety and continuous improvement, with rotating shifts (8 hours) and overtime as needed.

You should be capable of interpreting instructions, using basic computer skills for data entry, taking measurements, and working well in a team.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.
• Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
• Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.
• Proficiency at taking measurements to verify product is within specifications.
• Familiarity with common hand tools and proper use.
• Effective teamwork and communication with co-workers.

Responsibilities
