Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead manufacturing engineering efforts for complex rotating hardware with a focus on milling and turning
  • Own a defined portion of project work, driving execution from planning through hardware delivery
  • Develop, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC)
  • Design and refine fixtures, tooling, and process layouts to support safe, repeatable, high-quality machining
  • Create, run, and troubleshoot machine programs and support hands-on shop-floor execution
  • Work directly with hardware in a lab and manufacturing environment, partnering with operators, machinists, quality, and engineering teams
  • Solve technical manufacturing issues and drive process improvements using sound engineering judgment
  • Provide informal guidance to less experienced team members and contribute to team execution
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing engineering experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years manufacturing engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with complex rotating parts
  • Aerospace and/or power generation manufacturing experience
  • Experience with complex milling and turning of aerospace materials
  • Hands-on experience with fixture design, tooling, and process development
  • Experience running and programming machines
  • Experience machining titanium, nickel-based alloys, and other exotic materials
  • NX CAD/CAM experience
