GE Aerospace seeks a Lead Manufacturing Engineer for the Rotating Parts Lab in Evendale, OH. This hands-on role focuses on turning and milling complex rotating parts, owning project work, and delivering fixtures, process layouts, and machine programs to enable safe, high-quality machining.

The position requires collaboration with operators, machinists, quality, and engineering teams to solve manufacturing issues, improve safety and delivery, and drive cost reductions in a lab and shop-floor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, or 4+ years manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Minimum 3 years manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience with complex rotating parts and aerospace-related processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering efforts for complex rotating hardware with emphasis on milling and turning.
  • Own defined portion of project work from planning through hardware delivery.
  • Develop, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
  • Design and refine fixtures, tooling, and process layouts to support safe, repeatable, high-quality machining.
  • Create, run, and troubleshoot machine programs; support hands-on shop-floor execution.
