Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an Equipment Technician to collect, analyze, and report health data of rotating equipment across multiple sites. You will work with operations, engineers, and maintenance to troubleshoot and improve performance, using vibration, oil, and thermography data.

Responsibilities include developing vibration routes, performing equipment analyses, coordinating repairs, and supporting lubrication programs while ensuring safety and reliability across facilities.

Qualifications

• Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret and analyze data.
• Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain vibration analysis program. Establish equipment routes and frequency. Collect and enter equipment data necessary for proper vibration analysis.
• Proficient with rotating and/or reciprocating equipment analysis techniques and perform as required.
• Proficient with motor and/or engine analysis techniques and perform as required.
• Develop and maintain lube oil analysis program establishing routes and frequency.
• Periodic data acquisition from equipment, including vibration data with portable systems and oil samples and analysis.
• Perform analysis of data to resolve or proactively anticipate equipment failures.
• Lead and/or assist in root cause failure analysis utilizing the TapRoot process.
• Implement continuous monitoring systems, such as alarm, report, and acceptance regions.
• Coordinate scheduling of repairs and follow-up.
• Monitor equipment repairs in the field and at vendor shops.
• Report equipment deficiencies in SAP with corrective action recommendations.
• Collaborate with Maintenance/Reliability Specialist and engineers to prioritize deficiencies for improvement.
• Support the lubrication program by monitoring effectiveness and taking corrective actions.
