Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an Equipment Technician to monitor and analyze rotating equipment health across multiple sites. You will manage vibration and oil analysis programs, perform data-driven diagnostics, and partner with operations and maintenance teams to prevent failures.

The role requires familiarity with vibration analysis, lubrication programs, and SAP reporting. A high school diploma or GED is required, with increasing levels of oil and gas operations experience expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. Level C requires 0–2 years in oil and gas ops, Level B 2–4 years, Level A 4+ years.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain vibration analysis program with equipment routes and data collection.
• Perform rotating/reciprocating equipment analysis techniques and reporting.
• Conduct motor/engine analysis and corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and maintain lubrication oil analysis program with routes and frequency.
• Collect monthly/quarterly data including vibration, temperatures and flow metrics.
• Lead root cause failure analyses using established processes.
• Coordinate repairs by managing notifications and follow-ups.
• Monitor field repairs and report deficiencies in SAP.
