Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking a Rotating Equipment Technician to provide mechanical and rotating-equipment support for South Central Texas Gas & Processing operations, including San Antonio-area plants such as Goliad, Eagle, Wilcox, and Giddings.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, compressors, and related equipment, travel up to 25%, and collaborate with Operations, Reliability, and contractors to improve reliability and safety across pipelines and facilities.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time using company vehicle.
• 2+ years of experience changing mechanical seals and pump maintenance.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, manuals, and prints.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary rotating-equipment support for South Central Texas plants and pump stations.
• Plan and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot problems and classify failures as operational, mechanical, electrical, installation, or end-of-life.
• Perform inspections, monitoring, and follow-up work to prevent outages.
• Oversee pump tear-downs, repairs, rebuilds, and seal replacements.
• Coordinate with Operations, Reliability, and contractors to plan work.
• Maintain accurate work-orders, equipment records, and documentation.
