Job summary

Arkema’s Beaumont Plant is seeking a knowledgeable Reliability Engineer to support rotating equipment performance and predictive maintenance programs, strengthening reliability across the site.

You will collaborate with Reliability Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and vendors to diagnose issues, implement corrective actions, and enhance the health of critical assets. The role requires strong analytical and mechanical skills in a dynamic chemical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technology.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Certification in vibration analysis, lubrication, or CMRP is a plus.
• Experience with rotating equipment and predictive maintenance technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support rotating equipment health through vibration analysis, lubrication data, inspections, and contractor reports; communicate findings and recommend actions.
• Maintain and update documentation including repair procedures, PMs, BOMs, and the Master Rotating Equipment List.
• Assist with reliability initiatives including VIS updates, turnaround planning, and SAP program enhancements.
• Provide field support for repairs such as compressor rebuilds, pump repairs, exchanger work, and piping equipment troubleshooting.
• Document failures, repair actions, and historical data in SAP to support long-term reliability strategy.
• Support problem-solving and reliability tools (RCA, FMEA, 5 Why’s, KPI trend analysis).
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, initiate requisitions, and witness critical equipment rebuilds.
• Assist in emergent maintenance needs and provide technical input during abnormal events.
