Job summary

The Arkema Group seeks a Staff Reliability Engineer for its Beaumont Plant to enhance rotating equipment performance, strengthen predictive maintenance, and boost site reliability. You will work on-site with Reliability Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and vendors to diagnose issues and drive corrective actions.

The role requires hands-on experience with vibration analysis, lubrication systems, PM programs, and SAP documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or industrial technology.
Vibration Cat I, Lubrication MLT I, or CMRP certification.
Experience with rotating equipment in an industrial environment.
Familiarity with vibration analysis, oil analysis, and lubrication systems.
SAP or similar CMMS for work orders, documentation, and purchasing.
Strong mechanical, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain the site’s lubrication program and monthly oil sampling routes.
Monitor rotating equipment health via vibration analysis, oil data, inspections, and contractor reports; recommend fixes.
Maintain and update repair procedures, PMs, BOMs, and the Master Rotating Equipment List.
Assist with reliability initiatives including VIS updates, turnaround planning, and SAP enhancements.
Provide technical field support for repairs such as compressor rebuilds and piping equipment troubleshooting.
Document failures, repair actions, and equipment history in SAP to support long-term reliability.
