Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company's Kenai Refinery is seeking a Rotating Equipment Maintenance Planner. The role plans work for pumps, compressors, steam turbines, and related equipment, developing scopes, estimating costs and man-hours, and coordinating materials and resources to support TAR outages and turnarounds.

The planner reports to the Planning Manager and will work onsite Monday–Thursday, 10-hour days, with after-hours support as needed. The position emphasizes safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years rotating equipment maintenance or planning/scheduling in a refinery or petrochemical environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review and process work notifications into work orders with proper authorization and priority.
• Develop detailed work packages and procure materials for rotating equipment projects.
• Plan workloads, allocate resources, and schedule equipment and tools.
• Lead backlog reviews and coordinate with Area Team on priorities and accuracy.
