CITGO Petroleum Corporation, Lemont Refinery, seeks a Mechanical Planner to define the scope of maintenance work and craft detailed plans for corrective, preventive, and project tasks on rotating equipment. You will build schedules, allocate resources, and maintain equipment histories to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 2 years refinery maintenance experience.
• Associate degree in a technical field with 4 years refinery maintenance experience.
• High school diploma with 6 years related maintenance experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in CMMS.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment and related maintenance planning.
• Understanding procurement, scheduling, and field execution impacts.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC.
• Experience with planning software (current planning tools).

Responsibilities

• Develop job plans with detailed tasks and cost estimates for maintenance work.
• Submit executable work for weekly and daily scheduling.
• Create the Daily Mechanical Department Schedule with Supervisors.
• Create the 1–3 week look ahead schedule for the Mechanical Department.
• Maintain rotating equipment repair documentation in CMMS/SAP.
• Verify rotating equipment repair sheets are filed as directed.
• Generate requisitions and bid requests for tools, materials, and contractors.
• Ensure cost-effective completion of maintenance work with refinery leadership.
• Close Work Orders/Notifications and plan follow-ups.
• Support development of the yearly maintenance spending budget.
• Create and maintain equipment history, bills of materials, and task lists in SAP/CMMS.
• Manage backlog of work to be planned and executed.
