Job summary

Amentum seeks an Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft in accordance with 14 CFR and DoD regulations. The role includes daily inspections, trouble shooting, and potential test flights on government aircraft.

Candidates must hold an FAA A&P certificate, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be willing to travel as required. Possession of a valid driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to obtain CBP Background Investigation Suitability clearance (US Citizenship required).
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, repair, modify aircraft per 14 CFR and DoD regs.
• Perform daily and turnaround inspections on all assigned aircraft.
• Inspect, perform corrosion control, troubleshoot and fault isolate aircraft systems.
• May fly on Government aircraft for relocation or test flights.
• May travel to temporary duty sites within and outside the United States.
