Job summary

Aerones seeks skilled Rope Access Technicians to support wind turbine maintenance on U.S. wind farm towers. You will establish safe rope access systems and perform blade repairs with certified Level 3 expertise, ensuring high-quality results and strict safety compliance.

Travel is 100% on a rotational basis to projects nationwide, with comprehensive reporting and collaboration with back-office teams. Prior experience with wind turbine blade repair and related certifications is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in inspection and repair of wind turbine blades from leading manufacturers.
• SPRAT or IRATA Rope Access Level 3 certification.
• 3+ years of blade repair experience.
• GWO Basic Safety Training.
• Minimum blade B / Basic blade repair certificate.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Certification in Personal Safety when Working with Epoxy and Isocyanates.
• Vestas BTO/ESQ/LOTO 2.
• SGRE SGTT.
• GE Easy Access/QEW.
• CAT 4 & 5 damage experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blade repairs in accordance with technical instructions, standards, and guidelines.
• Travel 100% on a rotational basis to wind farms throughout the U.S. - cross country travel by air or truck.
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, protocols, and industry standards.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive repair reports and other required technical documentation.
• Ensure the accuracy of time tracking and reporting for all working hours and project tasks.
• Operate and manage company vehicles, including vans, and pulling trailers as needed.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings with all relevant on-site technicians to ensure alignment and safety.
• Participate in and follow up on project meetings both on-site and remotely (via Google Meet) in coordination with the back-office.
• Follow-up on delivery and shipping coordination, control, registration, and approval of arriving goods.
• Will be working with SIKA Filler, Hontek Leading Edge Repair, Alexit Leading Edge Repair and Resin
