Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Level I Rope Technician to perform maintenance, inspections, and rope access tasks in hard-to-reach areas onsite at Channelview, TX. The role requires working at heights with proper PPE and following safety procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting in rescue procedures under supervision, logging equipment, and ensuring compliance with JSA and site rules. IRATA Level I certification and TWIC plus a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Journeyman level experience.
• IRATA Level I certification required.
• TWIC Card and a valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

• Work under direct supervision of Level II or Level III Rope Access Supervisor.
• Perform standard rope access tasks such as inspections, maintenance, and repairs in difficult-to-reach areas.
• Use basic rope access equipment according to safe working procedures.
• Assist in rescue and safety procedures under supervision.
• Inspect and log equipment before and after use.
• Follow Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and site protocols.
