Job summary

Acuren in Beaumont, TX is seeking an intermediate Rope Access Tech II to perform advanced rope access tasks at heights, following IRATA/SPRAT Level 2 standards on site. You will plan systems, inspect equipment, and report safety concerns under supervision of Level 3 technician.

The role requires SPRAT/IRATA Level 2 certification or the ability to obtain, 1000 IRATA hours or 500 SPRAT hours in the last year, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel and work overtime.

Qualifications

• SPRAT or IRATA Level 2 rope access certification required or ability to obtain.
• 1000 IRATA hours or 500 SPRAT hours within 12 months.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced rope access work at heights per IRATA/SPRAT Level 2 standards.
• Plan and implement rope access systems for various work scenarios.
• Maintain rope access equipment and report safety concerns.
• Assist in rigging, rescue plans, and coordination with Level 3 technician.
• Document work results and complete detailed reports.
