Job summary

Austin Industrial, Inc. seeks an experienced Rope Access Technician to perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs in hard-to-reach areas. The role requires comfort working at heights on construction sites, a strong mechanical background, and adherence to safety protocols.

Based in Houston, TX, the technician will collaborate with a team to complete tasks efficiently, operate related equipment, and document findings for supervisors. A TWIC card and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

SPRAT/IRATA certification (Level I–III) preferred but Level II or III required for this role.
3–5 years journeyman level experience in rope access or similar.
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
TWIC card or ability to obtain one.
Able to pass physical exam and maintain safety training.

Responsibilities

Perform rope access inspections, maintenance, and repairs in hard-to-reach areas.
Use hand and power tools for welding, rigging, and equipment operation.
Inspect equipment/structures and report issues to supervisors.
Coordinate with team to follow safety protocols on site.
Transport materials and equipment on construction sites as needed.
