Job summary

Acuren is seeking experienced Rope Access Mechanical Techs Level I or II for callout assignments across the U.S. Northwest Region, with emphasis in the PNW. Preference is given to candidates with NDT or mechanical trades certifications.

This intermediate role covers Rope Access Level I/II duties under supervision, in a safe, timely manner on customer sites. Expect travel, overtime, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• SPRAT/IRATA Level 2 certification required or ability to obtain
• Minimum 1000 documented hours in 12 months for IRATA or 500 for SPRAT
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified NDT (ANY LEVEL)
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Knowledge of NDT equipment
• Experience in report writing preferred
• NACE or NCCER certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced rope access work at heights using established rope access techniques and systems
• Plan and implement rope access systems for various work scenarios
• Maintain rope access equipment and report safety concerns
• Demonstrate Rope Access Technician Level 2 skills
• Conduct specialized inspections and complete detailed work reports
• Assist in rigging and rescue plans under supervision
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined trade specialists
• Identify hazards and communicate them to the Rope Access Level III Technician
