Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking dedicated Rope Access Technicians for a temporary project in Texas City, TX. This on-site role requires a 40 Hour Radiation Safety Certification and a current Level I/II rope access certification, with training opportunities available.

The position supports field operations for 5-6 weeks with a 4x10 schedule. Candidates should be able to work effectively in a team, follow safety procedures, and contribute to high-quality field documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Maintains Level I or II rope access certification (SPRAT or IRATA).
• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Certification.
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence.
• Proficient with computers and online communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Represents MISTRAS professionally at all times.
• Delivers exemplary customer service and internal/external support.
• Works in a team to complete field and admin tasks on time with quality.
• Maintains safety, health and risk management throughout operations.
• Leads daily safety meetings and updates JHA as needed.
• Develops rescue preparedness knowledge and techniques.
