Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking RT Assistants for a temporary Texas City project. The role requires 40 Hour Radiation Safety Certification and Level I/II Rope Access certification, with a 4x10 schedule and on-site work in Texas City, TX.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and excellent customer service. Candidates should be prepared to operate in a fast-paced field environment and support field and administrative tasks as part of a project team.

Qualifications

• Maintains certification as Level I or II Rope Access Technician (SPRAT or IRATA).
• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Certification.
• High school diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license in primary state of residence.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and online communication platforms.

Responsibilities

• Represents MISTRAS in a positive and professional manner at all times.
• Provides exemplary customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Works effectively within a team to complete field and administrative tasks on time and with quality.
• Maintains safety and risk management focus following company procedures and permits.
• Leads daily safety meetings and updates JHA as needed.
